The Hawk and the Hummingbird®
And the Clock

It was a bright and sunny morning. Ruby the Ruby-throated Hummingbird woke up. He stretched his little wings. He peered around his little hummingbird nest.

Ruby’s nest was an average hummingbird nest. It was built in a tall maple tree on a downturned limb. Ruby’s nest was neat for a hummingbird’s nest. It had pictures of flowers hanging on the walls.

Beside his bed was a little table. Ruby liked to play card games on it. Harry the Hoot Owl had taught him to play them. Of course, Ruby didn’t play cards much. Most of his friends couldn’t fit in his nest.

I wonder what Red is doing this bright and sunny morning? Ruby thought.

Best friends Ruby and Red have a mystery on their hands. They will have to depend on their island friends to solve the odd mystery together.
Sure is quiet for such a bright and sunny morning. Where is the hustle and bustle? It is a mystery that Ruby, Red, and their island friends must unravel. Join the group as they work together to answer the question of what has happened to everyone on the island.
