The Hawk and the Hummingbird® Book Series
The paperback editions of my series, The Hawk and the Hummingbird®, were designed with schools in mind. These chapter books are edited to a 3rd grade reading level by my editor and the paperback editions are priced with a school’s budget in mind. Schools may purchase my books at a discount price when ordered directly from my publisher, Mermaid Cove, using the School Discount Order Form. A copy of the school’s Tax Exempt Certificate should accompany the order.
School Visits
I am available to visit schools and can offer a standard 60-minute presentation. During my presentation I talk about how and why I write my books, the inspiration for my books, and I also focus on the writing process. I am also a photographer and since my stories and characters are inspired by the nature around me, I will also share some of my photography with the students. I enjoy taking questions from the students and will leave time for questions as well as time at the end to autograph and personalize books for students who want to purchase their own copies.
